How can I find more information about your sorority?
  • You can visit Delta Sigma Theta’s website to gain information pertaining to our programs, projects, initiatives and history. www.deltasigmatheta.org
  • The local chapter in your community can also share more information and there are several published materials that might be of interest to you.

When will the nearest chapter to me have membership intake?

Membership intake is the decision of the local chapter. Check the contact page of the chapter’s website or contact the local chapter president for more information. If you are an undergraduate student, Rush will be advertised in accordance with University guidelines.


Why am I not receiving emails from the chapter?

If you are a financial Delta or paid member-at-large and not receiving emails from the chapter:

  • Check to ensure you have not unsubscribed from MailChimp.
  • Check to ensure Gmail isn’t categorizing communication under the Promotions tab.  If so, add the email address to ‘Safe Sender’ list.
  • Check to ensure messages from NDSA are not going to your spam or junk mail.
  • Check to ensure the email address in the Sisters Only Portal is correct.
  • If you’ve checked and still can’t determine the issue, email finance@dstndsa.org

I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta and would like to visit an NDSA chapter meeting. What do I need to know before visiting?
  • Meetings of the North Dallas Suburban Alumnae Chapter are only open to the duly initiated members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in good standing. Proof of membership is verified before admittance to chapter meetings is granted. Business attire is required for every chapter meeting (no denim, khaki, shorts, flip flops, etc.)
  • Visiting sorors should be prepared to present their membership card or credentials and photo identification to the NDSA Sergeant-At-Arms upon arrival. If you have misplaced your membership card or credentials, please complete the Membership Verification Form at least 3 days prior to attending the meeting. You will be contacted once your membership has been verified. Membership Verification Form
  • Chapter meetings are currently held on the third Thursday of each month, with some meetings being in-person only and some virtual only.

What do I need when I come to my first meeting or event as a visiting Soror?

First time visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early as credentials are verified prior to admitting non-NDSA members into the meeting.


I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta and am interested in transferring my membership to NDSA. What information do I need?

Please complete the membership verification form. Once your information is verified, you will be contacted by our Finance team.


I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta and would like to join the NDSA Chapter, but I am not financially active. What do I need to do to become a member of NDSA?

The Membership Committee plays a vital role in reclaiming and retaining sorors back into our sisterhood. Their customer service model provides activities, recognition projects and supportive services for returning sorors as well as the general membership. Please send any inquiries you may have regarding reclamation or programs we have planned throughout the year to the membership committee at membership_services@dstndsa.org.


A Soror /Member has passed away. Whom do I contact?
  • Please visit our Contact Us page. Type “Special Services” in the subject line, then provide all the necessary information. Please remember to provide your name and number so someone can contact you for additional information. You can also send an e-mail message to info@dstndsa.org.
